I won an auction on Ebay for 26 SW books. I'm happily diving into the EU with the Thrawn books.

Oo, the Thrawn trilogy, great place to start! I think that's where I entered the EU I think, IDK to be honset. It's been such a long run of collecting SW books, I've forgotten what my first one was.

I've just entered the world of EU. I'm almost finished with Heir to the Empire and I can't wait to finish the Thrawn Trilogy.

Even though I'm reading my first EU book, I know the general happenings of EU.

It depends on what you're going for.

Old Republic era:I personally recommend playing KOTOR first before reding books about it. They don't have a lot of novels out yet about TOR soKOTOR is the best starting place to into it and backtrack for SW history and proceed forward to get into the actual TOR game part of the Old Republic era

Movie Novelizations: Obviously TPM is the best starting place.

Clone Wars: There's a lot of good starting places, and I'd recommend alomost any you could buy besides the RC series, because they deal with a bit more than the Clone Wars era in itself so it wouldn't be the best place to start.

Empire era: Either Coruscant nights books or Alleginace from what I've heard.

New Republic era: Truce at Bakura or Thrawn trilogy

OMG Guys, I just finished reading Specter of the Past by Timothy Zahn and i am convinced that it is the best book I've read yet. It is just SOOOO AMAZING!!!!! But it left off on a MAJOR cliffhanger! I'm so glad that I own the sequel!!!!!!! I can't wait to start reading it, it's beyond amazing! I loved Specter of the Past, it was insanely good. I highly recommend it!!!!!!

Thjat's a good idea, if you have any spare time during school hours or after homework, it never hurts toopen up a good book!

HAHAH lol I think I am going to the Library today to pick up some SW books to read in my spare time.
